Concrete Crunching

Concrete Crunching

Crunchers are hydraulic jaws, which span a wall of concrete or masonry, crushing and breaking as the jaws close.

This is a fast, controlled exercise that is powered by hydraulics, is relatively dust and vibration free. Crunching does not require diamond holes to be pre-drilled and the resulting rubble is of much smaller dimensions.

Providing a free or open edge is available the jaws are installed over the concrete to be removed. The jaws come together and the concrete is crushed. This process is repeated until the whole area is removed with reinforcing steel cut by angle grinder or cutters.
